Eshasealer No 1 is a plastomeric cold applied bituminous sealant, suitable for vertical and horizontal expansion joints of small width.
It is composed of modified bitumen, solvents, elastomers, plasticizers, inorganix fibres and fillers.
It forms the normal deformations of an expansion joint without any stress manifestation, due to its elastoplastic nature.
Suggested applications:
- General repairing of bitumen felt details
- Sealing and adhering of bitumen roof tiles
- Perimeter sealing of bitumen felts
- Sealing of joints in concrete, plaster or brick
- Sealing of horizontal or vertical expansion joints of secondary priority, such as in industrial floors, laying of floor tiles, irrigation channels etc.
- Adhering of thermal insulation tiles
Before application of Eshasealer No 1, a primer must be applied to the sides of the joints with a bitumen coating type Eshalac 50S.
