► Soundproof elastomeric anti-vibration rubber strip, mounting as a base substrate in the construction of masonry and drywall partitions with plasterboard.
► Roll Dimensions: 0.15X10m
♦ The Acoustic Rubber Strip MS-R1, is a product made of recycled elastomeric granules to improve the sound insulation performance of construction partitions, while providing an excellent solution to reduce vibration transfer through vertical structural elements.
♦ The MS-R1 soundproof strip is suitable even in cases of high load-bearing masonry and plasterboard partition, as it is highly compressive and can also come in contact with liquid elements.
♦ Before mounting the strip, make sure that the concrete slab is completely clean and dry, without loose parts.
♦ In the case of surface irregularities, it is recommended to apply the BAU R4 FAST repair mortar, in order to smooth and finish the surface of the substrate.
♦ Finally, apply the MS-R1 strip, directly onto the substrate using polyurethane foam glue.
♦ For the best possible soundproofing of the construction, it is necessary to apply a foam adhesive tape on the two vertical sides, as well as on the upper side of partition.
